Seal Cleaning have integrated into their Cleaning contracts an Occupational Health and Safety system and we comply with all Worksafe recommended guidelines for our industry.

This organisation is determined to ensure high standards of health and safety.
There is commitment to fulfilling this policy and maintaining health and safety through constant review and consultation.

To ensure this we undertake to:

  • Comply with all relevant legislation.
  • Provide a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Consult with employees and their representatives on matters affecting their health and safety.
  • Provide and maintain appropriate equipment to protect employees’ health and safety.
  • Train all employees, managers and supervisors so that they may perform their tasks safely and meet their responsibilities.
  • Consider health and safety when purchasing plant and equipment, or altering work organisation and work practices.
  • Develop and document policies and procedures in relation to specific hazards and risks.
  • Ensure all managers and supervisors are held accountable for their health and safety responsibilities.
  • Regularly evaluate and update our health and safety program.

The Occupational Health and Safety System will outline areas including;

  • Cleaning staff to abide by standards set by Seal Cleaning Services in relation to the use and disposal of cleaning chemicals and proper handling of cleaning equipment.
  • as cleaning specifications may require cleaning staff to enter food preparation areas or areas of Health & Safety issues, all cleaning staff will abide by standards of entry into these areas to perform cleaning duties.
  • Allocation of cleaning equipment to specific areas to eliminate cross use.
  • Colour coding in accordance with infection control guidelines.
